Lady Leopards Open Tonight

The Lady Leopard volleyball team will open their 2019 season tonight when they travel to Nature Coast.  The JV game will start at 5:30 with the varsity starting after their game.  The Lady Leopards are coming off a great pre-season beating Hudson and Weeki Wachee in last weeks pre-season classic at NCT. Kick-Off Classic Cancelled

Tonight’s kick-off class versus Dunnellon High School has been cancelled due to weather and field conditions. The Leopards will start the regular season versus Lake Gibson High School at Tom Fisher Stadium, next Friday, August 23rd, with kick-off at 7:30 PM.

The Hernando softball continues to receive post-season accolades as senior Ali Shenefield was named first team all-state pitcher and Defensive Player of the Year. Junior catcher Taliyah Dowdell received first team catcher. Shenefield Named Pitcher of the Year; Lamp First Team

Hernando star pitcher, Ali Shenefield was named pitcher of the year by Tampa Bay Times. The Rollins College signee broke numerous school and county records in her Leopard career. Shenefield finished second in the state in strikeouts and was in the top ten in the country in strikeouts. Senior Madyson Lamp was named first team.
