Mobley, Taylor are GC8 Champs!

Lady Leopard Lifters Place 2nd

The girls weightlifting team came in second place to Nature Coast in the Hernando County weightlifting championships.  The Lady Sharks defeated the Lady Leopards by 6 points 60-54. Basketball Sweep Hornets

The boys and girls basketball team swept the Hornets of Weeki Wachee Tuesday night.  The Lady Leopards traveled to Weeki Wachee and defeated the Hornets 70-42.  Sabrina Carter and Sy Crowley led the way with 18 points a piece. Girls Soccer Defeats Central 8-1

The girls soccer team defeated the Lady Bears of Central 8-1 in their game Tuesday night at Tom Fisher Stadium.  The Lady Leopards were led by Serena Huber’s three goals.  Haylie Holcomb contributed two more goals. Riley Honor, Ava Phillip and Erin King chipped in a goal a piece. Hernando improved their record to 6-7. 

Grapplers Defeat Hornets for District Title

The Hernando High School wrestling team continued their area dominance by winning their fourth consecutive district championship yesterday at  district duals tournament held at Weeki Wachee High School.  The Leopards had 8 wrestlers that finished the tournament undefeated: TJ Rodier, Zach Zimmerman, Billy Gould, Jason Perez, Billy Fetzner, Nate Greene, Chris Spellman and Sam Fleming.

Bingham Stands Out in All-Star Game

Hernando senior football player, Shawn Bingham Jr., stood out in the Podyum Preps All-Star game at Orange Bowl Field in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  The game consisted of players selected from all over the country to come and play one last time in their high school career.  Bingham took advantage of the opportunity collecting five tackles,
