Lady Leopards Almost Pull Off Upset

The Lady Leopard Volleyball team almost pulled off the upset of the year taking 3-time district champion Weeki Wachee to five sets in the second round of the district play-offs at Lecanto High Schoo, losing three sets to two. The Lady Leopards will take on Crystal River High School in volleyball today at 4 PM at Lecanto High School in the first round of district play-offs.  The Lady Leopards, led by Coach Robin Bailey, is the third seed in the tournament with a record of 11-9.

Leopards Blank the Hornets 47-0

The Hernando High School Leopards put on a dominating performance and they beat visiting Weeki Wachee High School and honoring the seniors in their last football game at Tom Fisher Stadium with a 47-0 victory on Senior Night.  The defense created four turnovers, including the game ending 81 yard touchdown interception return by Shavaris McNair. 

Leopards defeat Eagles 17-14 in Hall of Fame Game

The Leopard football team defeated crosstown rival, Springstead 17-14 on a night former Leopards were recognized for being inducted into the school athletic Hall of Fame.  Scoring touchdowns for the Leopards were seniors David Bronson (10 yard run) and Izzy Fields (55 yard TD reception right before the half).  Senior Boston Tafelski added a 35
