Former USF and NFL Player Visit Hernando

Former USF Football player and former NFL player, Kion Wilson, visited Hernando High School to talk to the Leopard football team before their spring practice.  Wilson even came out to watch the practice after the speaking engagement. Hernando Track has Two District Champs

The Hernando Track team had two district champions Nakayla Roberts placing first in the shot put. Lady Leopards Win 15-0 On Sr. Night; Shenefield Breaks County K’s in a Season

The Lady Leopards won their final home game of the season with a 15-0 victory over Weeki Wachee High School.  Senior Ali Shenefield broke the single-season strikeout record and now sits at 288 on the season.  Shenefield struck out 9 in throwing her 5th no-hitter on the season and her 4th perfect game. JV Baseball Wins Pasco/Hernando JV Tournament

The Hernando JV baseball team beat Mitchell High School 7-2 to claim the championship in the Hernando/Pasco County JV tournament. Jake Kelly got the win on the mound and went 3-4 at the plate.  Trent Maner hit a 2 RBI single in the game. The JV baseball team improved their record to 16-2.

Leopards No-Hit Hudson High, Win 10-0

Carson Lashley threw 4 innings and Bryson Derryberry threw the fifth as the duo combined on a no-hitter versus Hudson High School in a 10-0 victory Wednesday night.  The Leopards will travel to Key West to play in a Easter tournament over the weekend.

Hernando Defeats Hudson 9-2

The Hernando Leopard baseball team traveled to Hudson and beat the Cobras by a score of 9-2.  The Leopards improved their record to 14-4 and will take on Hudson today at Hernando.  First pitch is scheduled for 7 PM.
