Varsity Football · Leopards Take on the Panthers

Hernando football team will travel to Lecanto High School in the regular season finale tonight for a 7 PM kick-off at Lecanto. The 4-1 Leopards look to head into the postseason strong as they take on Tarpon Springs at Tarpon in the first round of the state play-offs.  First, Hernando wants to finish busy and end the regular season 5-1.  The Leopards will continue to lean on the running game with back Contae Cason averaging over 150 yards a game and a stingy defense that has three shutouts in the five games they have played this season. The defense has been led by middle linebacker Sam Sternberger.

The game is sold out but is being streamed on NFHS Network. It can be seen by going to this link:

There is a subscription fee. All home games at Tom Fisher Stadium and Michael Imhoff Gymnasium will be streamed as well now at Hernando.  You will also be able to stream away games if the opponent is signed up with NFHS Network as well (Lecanto is signed up with NFHS Network).
