Varsity Baseball · Schatzel, Laing Keep Leopards Hot

Jordan Laing pitched a near perfect performance against Lecanto High School Friday night. Laing gave up one hit and collected eight strikeouts in six innings in his dominant performance.  Dylan Schatzel was perfect at the plate going 3-3. Steaven Hart also collected a couple of hits at the plate.  Sophomore Anthony Talpa went deep in the sixth inning as the Leopards clawed the Panthers 9-0.  Hernando ran their unbeaten record to 4-0 on the season.

The Leopards return to the diamond this Tuesday when they host Citrus High School with the first pitch scheduled for 7 PM. Cost of admission is $5 and all tickets must be purchased from All tickets must be digital and cash will not be accepted. Mask must be worn when social distancing can not be practiced.
