The Hernando High baseball team shut out the visiting Raiders of South Sumter 12-0 Wednesday night. Riley Fisher continued his strong season on the mound hurling four innings and striking out nine. Clay Oates came in to pitch the final inning as the game ended after five innings due to the mercy rule. Fisher helped himself at the plate launching a home run in the third inning.
The Leopards travel to Key West this weekend to take on Key West High School. The Leopards record now stand at 15-1 on the season.
