Grapplers Dominate Kiwanis Invitational

The Hernando Leopard wrestling team dominated the 38th annual Kiwanis Invitational by ending with a tournament high 305 points out of the 33 schools in attendance. Lady Leopards Flex Past Crystal River

The Lady Leopard weightlifting team improved to 5-1 with a 67-19 victory when they visited the Lady Pirates of Crystal River yesterday. The Lady Leopards won 9 weight classes. Beta Club Donates Over 2000 Canned Items

Thank you to Mr. Diehl and the Beta Club for having a food drive at Hernando High School. 2000 cans were donated by Hernando High Students. The Beta Club donated them to Operation Heartfelt. Lady Leopards Strength Tops South Sumter and Lake Minneola

Morgan Signs With St. Johns River State College

Senior Connor Morgan signed with St. John’s River State College on a baseball scholarship.  The Vikings are located in Palatka, Florida. Lady Leopards Finish 2nd

The Lady Leopard weightlifting team finished second in a tri-meet with Nature Coast and Weeki Wachee. The Lady Leopards had 39 points on the night. Nature Coast had 53 and Weeki Wachee had 22. Bri Mobley placed first totaling 300 pounds in the 183 weight class.

Balogh, McNair Win Athlete of the Month October

Shavaris McNair and Olivia Balogh won October Athlete of the Month.  Balogh was a stand-out on the volleyball team. She led the team in kills and blocks for the season.
