Lady Leopards Softball #3 Final State Ranking

The Lady Leopard softball team finished the season with a final ranking of #3 in 5A. The Lady Leopards finished the season 27-4 losing to the eventual state champion in the final four. Congratulations to the ladies and coaches on a historic season.

Awesome Items for Auction at Golf Outing

Hernando Athletic department has received two great items from Sara White, wife of the late great Reggie White, who played with Hernando great Jerome Brown with the Philadelphia Eagles. Sara has donated an autographed Green Bay Packers helmet with Reggie’s autograph and several others including Gilbert Brown, Eugene Robinson, Frank Winters, Adam Timmerman and others.

Shenefield, Bittinger Selected for State All-Star Game

Senior Ali Shenefield and Coach Kevin Bittinger were selected to participate in the FACA all-star softball game held in Lakeland, this past weekend. Shenefield picked up a win on the mound in game one.  Ali also placed third in the state for FHSAA 5A Florida Athletic Coaches Association player of the year award.  Congratulations to

Jerome Brown Camp Postponed

Due to the weather, the Jerome Brown football camp has been postponed.  The tentative make-up date is Saturday, July 27th.  More information will get out soon in regards to the camp.
