Golf Outing July 20th at Brooksville Country Club

More Honors For Leopard Softball

The Hernando softball continues to receive post-season accolades as senior Ali Shenefield was named first team all-state pitcher and Defensive Player of the Year. Junior catcher Taliyah Dowdell received first team catcher. Freshmen shortstop Solaris “Solo” Genberg received second team honors.

Shenefield Named Pitcher of the Year; Lamp First Team

Hernando star pitcher, Ali Shenefield was named pitcher of the year by Tampa Bay Times. The Rollins College signee broke numerous school and county records in her Leopard career. Shenefield finished second in the state in strikeouts and was in the top ten in the country in strikeouts. Senior Madyson Lamp was named first team.

Lady Leopards Softball #3 Final State Ranking

The Lady Leopard softball team finished the season with a final ranking of #3 in 5A. The Lady Leopards finished the season 27-4 losing to the eventual state champion in the final four. Congratulations to the ladies and coaches on a historic season.

Awesome Items for Auction at Golf Outing

Hernando Athletic department has received two great items from Sara White, wife of the late great Reggie White, who played with Hernando great Jerome Brown with the Philadelphia Eagles. Sara has donated an autographed Green Bay Packers helmet with Reggie’s autograph and several others including Gilbert Brown, Eugene Robinson, Frank Winters, Adam Timmerman and others.
