Tampa Bay Times Writes on Jerome Brown Project

Former USF and NFL Player Visit Hernando

Former USF Football player and former NFL player, Kion Wilson, visited Hernando High School to talk to the Leopard football team before their spring practice.  Wilson even came out to watch the practice after the speaking engagement. Football Loses in First Round To Baker 28-14

The Leopard football team concluded their season with a 28-14 loss to Baker County High School in the first round of the state play-offs.  The Leopards finished the season with a record of 7-4.

Football Travels To Baker County For First Round Match-up

The Leopard football team will travel to district five champion,  Baker County, this Friday, November 9th,  in the first round of the state play-offs. Game time is set for 7 PM and the cost of admission is $8.  Baker County finished the regular season with a 6-4 record. Hernando finished with a 7-3 record.

The Hernando High School Leopards put on a dominating performance and they beat visiting Weeki Wachee High School and honoring the seniors in their last football game at Tom Fisher Stadium with a 47-0 victory on Senior Night.  The defense created four turnovers, including the game ending 81 yard touchdown interception return by Shavaris McNair. 

Leopards defeat Eagles 17-14 in Hall of Fame Game
