More Honors For Leopard Softball

The Hernando softball continues to receive post-season accolades as senior Ali Shenefield was named first team all-state pitcher and Defensive Player of the Year. Junior catcher Taliyah Dowdell received first team catcher. Shenefield Named Pitcher of the Year; Lamp First Team

Hernando star pitcher, Ali Shenefield was named pitcher of the year by Tampa Bay Times. The Rollins College signee broke numerous school and county records in her Leopard career. Shenefield finished second in the state in strikeouts and was in the top ten in the country in strikeouts. Senior Madyson Lamp was named first team.

Lady Leopards Softball #3 Final State Ranking

The Lady Leopard softball team finished the season with a final ranking of #3 in 5A. The Lady Leopards finished the season 27-4 losing to the eventual state champion in the final four. Congratulations to the ladies and coaches on a historic season.

Shenefield, Bittinger Selected for State All-Star Game

Senior Ali Shenefield and Coach Kevin Bittinger were selected to participate in the FACA all-star softball game held in Lakeland, this past weekend.
