District Play-Off Tickets

Tickets for home district play-off games can be found on the link below: https://gofan.co/app/school/FL5905 The Girls soccer team will host Zephyrhills HS on Monday, February 1st,  at 7:00 PM and the girls basketball team will host Citrus on Tuesday, February 2nd,  at 7:00 PM. Mask must be worn at all times for the basketball game. 

Basketball Sweep Hornets

The boys and girls basketball team swept the Hornets of Weeki Wachee Tuesday night.  The Lady Leopards traveled to Weeki Wachee and defeated the Hornets 70-42.  Sabrina Carter and Sy Crowley led the way with 18 points a piece. The Gulf Coast Eight Conference awards were announced last night at the winter meeting being held at Lecanto High School.  Wrestler Josh Pritz led the way by being named Wrestler of the Year.  Coach David Pritz was named Coach of the Year after leading the Leopards to the conference championship.  The following wrestlers were named

Dowdell Leads Lady Leopards to Victory

Taliyah Dowdell scored a game high 23 points in Hernando’s 58-41 victory over The Villages in the first round of the district play-offs.  The Lady Leopards improved to 11-13 on the season and are set to travel on Wednesday to The Villages to take on Crystal River High School.

The girls basketball team improved their record to 5-5 with a 77-10 victory over county and Gulf Coast Eight foe Central High.  The Lady Leopards will return to action Friday when they travel to Lecanto High School in another Gulf Coast Eight Conference showdown.
